Blood is thicker than water but maple
syrup is thicker than blood so technically
pancakes are more important than family.
Which leads me to: Maple Butter vs.
Maple Cream. Two entirely different things.
Maple Butter is maple syrup mixed with a
little butter. It's pretty good. Maple
Cream is a project - like your recipe.
Once you've tried it, there's no going
back to the butter thing.
