Ted Cruz objects to Sesame Street over vaccines for kids, so he (played by Aidy Bryant) started his own educational program. Cruz Street jams in every right-wing talking point possible in a just six minutes for the opening scene for last night's Saturday Night Live. This skit also illustrates how the most elaborate makeup of the night must be in the first skit because they have time to put it on. Pete Davidson's bald head is perfect.

I'm a non-American, please tell me that that Cruz guys name is not pronounced Kruzz.
I mean, that is how it is spelt, but he is a politician for one of your two parties, so he would have to at least try to be liked and so should change the spelling to Cruize ... so phonetically it would be like as in Tom Cruise.
It's pronounced Cruise.
Cruz is a common name in Spanish (Ted's father was Cuban), and as far as I know, it's always pronounced Cruise.
