When DC Films announced that Robert Pattinson would play Batman in the new film The Batman, we all said, "What? That skinny pale kid from the Twilight movies?" But then we remembered what was said about casting comedian Michael Keaton in the role back in 1989. This could work, maybe. And today the main trailer has dropped. In this movie, Bruce Wayne is younger and angrier than we've seen before. Besides Pattinson, The Batman stars Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell. It is scheduled to hit theaters in March of 2022.
