Man Builds His Wife a Rotating House

Vojin Kusic of Bosnia built his wife a house that rotates! "I've got tired of her complaints and frequent refurbishing of our family house and I said: I'll build you a rotating house so you can spin it as you wish," the 72-year-old told Reuters. It took six years for Kusic to complete the house, using a mechanism he designed himself.  

Yes, part of the video is sped up for effect, yet the house can turn at speeds that one might think are unsafe. At its lowest setting, the house will make one complete turn in 24 hours, but at top speed, it will make a full rotation in 22 seconds! At that speed, one would have to worry about centripetal force when walking from room to room. However, it might help the laundry dry faster. (via Boing Boing)
