Slowly I turned, step by step, inch by inch! There are plenty of comedians who've done this old vaudeville routine, each with their own interpretation, but none are better known than The Three Stooges.
I admire how they adapted a two man act into a triple. In 1973 Moe Howard (then 76) revisited the act on the Mike Douglas Show https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJfHnLHUhdA
Oh Lord! When I was a little kid, I had that skit and many other Stooge related things memorized. Thanks to Sally Starr and "Popeye Theatre", I had exposure to the Stooges very early in life. During the great Pennsylvania blizzard of '58 or'59, I preformed that skit to a trapped audience morning, noon and night. My poor family! It's a wonder they didn't throw me to the wolves.

Gents Without Cents - my favorite bit from the Stooges. I have that buried away somewhere. Probably on VHS.
