I like vikings. You can't argue with
their logic because it's usually
backed up with an axe.
"I can't go out because of the virus,"
sounds weak, whiny, and boring.
Instead try something like:
"I've sworn a blood oath of solitude
until the pestilence is purged
from the land."
It's more valiant and noble; as
if you're on a mystical inner
journey, carrying a sword and
preparing for your next heroic
quest.
