I love the story of the 'survivor tree'.
Being European, I had never heard of it.

Awful lot of cats today Miss C. I get it though,
they spend half their lives asleep and the other
half making viral videos. Gotta admit they're
pretty smart though. Dogs for instance can't
operate MRI scanners but catscan. Strong too.
32 muscles in each ear - all to help them ignore
you. Also, they're living proof the Earth's not
flat - everything would have been pushed off it
by now.

Happy Friday. Live long and pawsper.

I would add one thing to the 9/11 piece: although this is classified in the U.S. it is not classified in the UK, so this is from open sources. In fact it was even parodied in the Bond film SKYFALL. When Bush left the school where he had been reading to kid's he cut on his laptop and there was a message from Osama: BUSH YOU ARE NEXT. FBI traitor Robert Hanssen had sold an instrument that allowed Clinton's and then Bush's laptop to be spied on (This explains why Osama would call Bill an adulterer and fornicator in his statements- he was reading Bill's emails!).
But how could he threaten the President? Bush would be hidden away somewhere in Washington. Flight 93, the plane taken over by the passengers, was on a direct path to Three Mile Island. The nuclear reactor has since been quietly closed
