Italy's Dollar Homes

Would you move to a small town in Italy if you could buy a home for one Euro ($1.10)? The actual cost turns out to be more, once you outbid other buyers, pay the back taxes, and make necessary repairs. It's pretty much the same deal as the condemned homes in Detroit that were going for just a few dollars some years back. Even with the extra investment, you'll end up with a historic home that's way less expensive than a new home... as long as you are happy living in rural Italy. (via Digg)
