Keep At It

Only after 45 years of work do I realize how overrated it is. Too bad it's necessary to pay for things like food, shelter, and children. The only thing we have that's worth anything is time, and too much of it is wasted chasing the bare minimum for survival. Workers used to be motivated by a goal: a night out, a vacation trip, a house, retirement, or maybe even financial independence. For too many of us, the goal now is just to make it through the month. This comic is from Jeff Lofvers at Don't Hit Save.

Absolutely! I know too many people who have worked hard for decades and have little to show for it other than time away from that which they love.
