20 Things Turning 50 in 2020

Yikes! The year 1970 was fifty years ago! That's hard to believe, and it's also hard to believe all the important events, products, and people who came to be in 1970. Take a look back with my latest article for Considerable, detailing what turns 50 years old in 2020.

I learned to drive in a Chevy Vega. The first models had
an aluminum engine. They tended to melt when they got too
hot. We got a free replacement engine.

My first car was 1976 Ford Pinto. Gas tank issue hadn't
been fixed yet and it was recalled. Ford put a piece of
molded fiberglass between the tank and the rear bumper.
Yeah that was safer. Had it for 12 years / 120K miles
before it died.

My CB Handle was Firebomb.

Happy Friday Miss C.
