British Christmas celebrations aren’t that different from American customs. We Yanks just made everything simpler. I never knew that the British Christmas pudding was that close to an American fruitcake. We just leave out the awful parts, like boiling it and burning it. And last year, my SIL brought crackers to the family gathering. POP, confetti, funny hats -it was almost like New Years Eve. (via Neatorama)
I disagree with the narrator. Many are the Christmas trees that I've seen put out at curbside within 48 hours of Christmas day here in the good ol' USA.
And why not? Because another difference between the US and the UK is that here in the USA we rush the season (don't get me started on the Hallmark channel and its "Christmas in July" movie marathon!), and the dambed thing has been up since before Thanksgiving!!

As far as the British are concerned, Trump is the ultimate American fruitcake.
