It all leads up to "I am sorry." This is so much more meaningful than spending three seconds to send a text message. Though the whole thing here is just a small part of a greater story, and who knows what /that/ is? It matters what the production company is sorry for. It might turn out to be something unforgivable, criminal, vile, in which case-- it's still better than a text message, even if they're Nazis, and they're probably not.
