Oh these poor folks who are struggling to get by on $350,000 a year. Why, they barely qualify as middle class! Of course, there are always places you can cut back. Three years ago, I gave up air conditioning. Two years ago, I gave up meat (unless someone else is treating). Last year, I gave up cable TV. From the way it's making noises, I might be close to giving up my pickup truck. (via Bored Panda)

Even with a $350,000 income it's possible to get in deep shit, ask lottery winners. I think the point is she/they are spending is wisely.
Reminds me of the joke about the privileged kid in school who was given an assignment to write a story about a poor family.
His story began, "Once upon a time there was a very poor family. The daddy was poor, the mommy was poor, and the children were poor. Even the butler, the maid, the gardener, and the chauffeur were poor."
