Who doesn't love lasagna? This video is supposed to be about the history of lasagna, but it's pretty slim on that. What we do find out is that the recipe is a lot older than you might imagine, and it's changed a lot. A recipe for lasagna from the 13th century contains no tomatoes (they are a New World food), no meat, and no garlic. That leaves only pasta and cheese (like the first pizzas) and some spices that might surprise you. (via Buzzfeed)
