The premise for the 1999 movie Wild Wild West was unbeatable: a science fiction Western with big stars and a big budget. It was even based on a hit TV show! But somehow, it all went wrong. According to this Honest Trailer, you can blame it on the script.

Having a black man portray a federal agent in the 1870's was a sure recipe for disaster. Yes, the script was bad, as was the direction, but if the premise is bad, as this one was, there is no chance of success. No surprise here that the film tanked.

But it did have a BIG spider. . .
I grew up watching WWW. But I could never make it more than 10 minutes before turning this movie off. It was beyond bad.
