This comic from Randall Munroe at xkcd caused me to pull up a calculator. My score is 8.33333 because I found a can of soup that expired five years ago at the back of the cupboard. Well, I had bought a can of French onion soup because I like it served in a restaurant. But to make it right, you have to add a slab of French bread and some Gruyere cheese, and buying those things just to serve myself a bowl of soup was never top of the mind. Anyway, I digress. The score is low because I am old, and old people are expected to keep stuff around way too long. Be sure to check out the hover text at xkcd.
