I don't mind eating leaves, as long as there's enough concept to drown it in! My preferred salad is tomatoes and cucumbers, honestly, without leaves. This comic is from Nathan Pyle's Strange Planet.

These are hilarious!
I think the practice of eating salad before the entree is wrong. Salad eaten with the entree adds flavor to the leaves.
I like to add more flavor to tomatoes and cucumbers by adding beans. No leaves, they're negative flavor.
