I yell at my cats all the time. I'm pretty sure they
understood every word, but their hearing is designed
to allow the human voice to easily go in one ear and
out the other while filing what is said for reference.
Then they proceed to purr their way out of whatever
the situation is.

Cats (and women) will do whatever they please. Men (and
dogs) should just relax and get used to it.

Happy Friday Miss C.

I think Melissa Guida-Richards is full of shit.
Culture: the customary beliefs, social forms, and material traits of a racial, religious, or social group.
also: the characteristic features of everyday existence (such as diversions or a way of life) shared by people in a place or time.
She wasn't deprived of "her culture", she has rejected her culture, the one she grew up in, to search of something she feels is more exotic to spice up her life, make her feel special, claiming she was cheated.

I tend to believe you Bruce, but
the thing is, I kind of gave up on
the article on the first paragraph.
First sentence actually. "Well
intentioned white couple." Knew
exactly where that was headed. . .

Bruce is right. If she had not been adopted by that kind, and generous couple her life would most likely have been short, and brutal. It's easy to romanticize a life you have never known. She doesn't seem to care that she has most likely broken her parents hearts. Just an awful person.
