We had something similar happen in our town. There was a fire at a local restaurant which gutted the building to the point that they had to raze what was left, leaving only the post that their advertising sign/little message board. Within two days the lettering on the sign read, "Sorry – Closed for Remodeling"! They did rebuild, bigger and better than before, and business is better than ever,.
Remember the old saying – "When life hands you lemons, make lemonade." (then get potatoes and make vodka, so you can have hard lemonade)
