Well, I could give you pictures of myself up to the summer after my Junior Year in High School, since I had a pediatrician who didn't believe in 'unnecessary surgery' so he never had my adenoids or tonsils removed in spite of me getting severe throat or nasal infections 3 times a year. So when I first went to a "grown ups doctor", the first thing he said after looking down my throat was "do those hurt? because they look awful". So, I went under the knife for both and, by some accounts, awoke with my head and neck two pounds lighter and with a uncontrollable desire to pack the empty spaces with ice cream. So don't talk to me about adenoids - or tonsils.
