Ruby

Emma Allen is a multimedia artist who often uses the human body as a canvas. In the video Ruby, Allen paints her own face to make a time-lapse video showing a woman aging, dying, decaying, and then after a trip through the cosmos, becoming reborn. The project took five days of painting -and a lot of cold cream, I'm sure! Stay for the end; it's a surprise. (Thanks, Jenni!)
