Paying for People's Groceries

I always thought that it was unfortunate that Thanksgiving falls toward the end of the month, making it necessary to buy a turkey early in November, lest you run out of money later. Christmas is the same, with the added burden of buying gifts. A lot of people shopping in the latter half of the month have had to think long and hard about whether to buy food or pay some other bill.

YouTube prankster Andrew Hales of LAHWF, sponsored by Gung Ho, arranged for a few shoppers to have their grocery trips paid for, suddenly, with no warning. The response was quite emotional. (via Viral Viral Videos)
