Because Michael Rooker had ONE SINGLE LINE in a comic-book-to-film adaptation that mentions Mary Poppins he should get a cameo? Sorry, Miss C. Michael Rooker has no more reason to be in a "Mary Poppins" reboot than I do.

From you, yes, it was a joke. But if you Google "Michael Rooker + Mary Poppins" you will find other people who were making the same suggestion with far more seriousness — including someone who actually started an online petition urging Disney to include Rooker in the project.
