Many, many years ago, in my first lifetime, I remember buying my Mom my first present. It was a 'Day' holiday - Mother's, Birthday, whatever. Cost around .25 cents which was pretty much all I had. Bought, snuck it in the house, then stashed it in the bathroom cabinet. Then at some point I excitedly brought her up to see her present - a can of comet cleanser. It did not go over well.
