Good to know that something good came out of the Great Depression! The masking tape and scotch tape entry was particularly interesting.
Excuse the Latin, but those antipodes islands are really great at naming geographical areas, don't you think ?
South Australia is a state of Australia.
And then there are the main islands of New Zealand, the North Island, and the South Island.
I guess after six months in a leaky boat they were running short of adjectives.
