Lol, those temperatures must be from north Queensland or somewhere around Alice ! I lived a day in 42ºC heat, it was not nice, you'd come out of a shopping centre, hurry while unable to run, to your car, open the doors, all of them, stand outside while turning the car on, and the air con, wait for a minute or three for things to cool down, praise the demons you knew as a kid that you haven't got leather seats, then hop in, and not touch the steering wheel as it is still made of lava. These days I live further south and on a different island, and moan like a Halloween house door when it gets to 32ºC. The legal limit for hot water in your home is 50ºC, used to be no limit and the less abled and children would sometimes get scalded. My sister in law must have asbestos hands because she washes dishes in 50ºC and ... scream ... when I try my hands become hot potato chips. You say potato, I say potatoe, let's cull the whole thing.
