Saturday Night Live season 49 has finally begun, a week after the writer's strike was resolved. Pete Davidson, who just left the show last year, is back already as the guest host. The show opening was a somber reflection on the events of the past week in Israel, and Davidson shared his real-life connection to what people are going through. It was sad but appropriate.
