Three minutes? My town has stoplights that are red longer than that in normal times. Besides, we all know that a malfunctioning light is legally now a four-way stop, and that can be faster. (via Bad Newspaper)
It has been a few hundred years since Vlad and I attended school, but I think the comma between Street and failed is correct.
(Halloween is over where I live, 'cos we are near the International Date Line and it is the first of November already).

If you think four way stops are faster, wait until you try a roundabout, they're great unless you get someone who doesn't know what they are doing in front of you, then it is like those 'Just Stop Oil' moron protests, where the first car in line is hesitant to just run them over.
EVERYTHING comes from oil ... well, so many things that without it we'd be living in caves with no internet or other access to Missy Sellina (there, I spelt it betterly)

Abergavenny ? Isn't that a song by some British band circa late 60s ?

I was born in Wales, not far from Abafan where, in 1966, the coal slag dumpings fell onto a school and killed 116 children and 28 adults.
Coal slag dumpings ... what do I know, it was called a 'colliery spoil tip'
They dumped the waste from a coal mine in high stacks on top of a small mountain, which had a school at it's foot.

But not everyone knows "what everybody knows", half of 'em don't know what day it is.
The writer, must have had some commas leftover from a, previous article.
