Does that mean loud and smelly?
Plant food processing makes me think of water and wind Grist mills, but they were smashing grains by hand.
I wonder how they would eat grains if they weren’t smashed, boiled? In soup? Chewed raw?
They only went back to 1950 with the movies, then have the temerity to say what my parents were laughing at. They did list some great movies but a couple of them I didn’t think were particularly funny.
Ones that were, like Blazing Saddles, or Dr Strangelove I doubt could be made today, maybe not even Airplane or Auntie Mame.
I know what you mean. The graduate and Moonstruck were good movies, but I didn't know they were supposed to be comedies.
I didn't think of Fargo as a comedy either. Maybe it is a comedy in its absurdity, with over-the-top stupid violence placed in the North Dakota 'you-betcha' culture.
