The irony of someone believing in a sky ghost, yet wearing a mask to protect oneself from a virus made by that same sky ghost.
Perhaps he is smart enough to figure out that the "sky ghost" provided the face masks to keep people safe. Like the tale of the drowning man and the life preserver...
