This reminds me of a time long long ago when I particiaped in Speech and Debate in HS. Was told that best place to practice was at a Turkey Farm. The birds all gathered like an audience when one started talking and were, relatively, quiet. When one paused the would break out in gobbles that sounded like audience conversation ( See "Sneakers" when reconstructing blindfolded ride) Great way to get over stage fright.
