Why People Fall for Misinformation



We share information all the time, as communication is one of the hallmarks of human civilization. But we don’t do it all that accurately or efficiently. The modern world with mass media and internet may have made communication more efficient, but doesn’t make it much more accurate. (via Digg)

Something like the tongue zones is interesting, we might even repeat it to someone, but it really doesn't affect our lives more than it has been since birth. Therefore there is no reason to question it, or investigate it further.
