I find the Jane Jetson story problematic, and obviously written by a very literal man. No woman would EVER confess to her real age back then, "I'm only 33" is code for, "I'm really 38". So, given that lying about your age was de rigeur... Jane Jetson was NOT a child bride.
sad how much has changed since the show first aired
