Relocating Bighorn Sheep

I watched this video and thought about the people who say they've been abducted by aliens. You know these sheep are going to tell tales like that the rest of their lives, and none of the other sheep will believe them. This relocation project brought the population of North American bighorn sheep from 100 to 600 in recent years. It's one of 5 Heartwarming Stories That Are Also Totally Hilarious at Cracked. In fact, the bighorn sheep were just a small part of the story about how helicopters are the funniest way to transport animals.

When John formed a flock of the dispossessed, his secondary election spiel remained the most talked about for years after, some thinking him an old 'smoker' others thinking him a bit 'off with the fairies'.
But the overall sway was that he was the one to lead them in this new life into which they had been thrust.

It wasn't until Maximilian joined the roaming tribe a good time later that they all heard about the vastness of space and the impossibility of long distance space travel.
You can picture the guru like Max, all long haired and magnetic of personality, arms spread wide in an encompassing 'I love you all' attitude, his handsome bearded face radiating truth and a near divine charisma.

And in that teaching, Max's absolute positiveness that John had not been abducted by strange two legged aliens and brought from another world to this one, was wrought like a pinot grigio vine, with each bountiful grape ripe with wanton sedition.

A good fair number accepted Max's view and would, in future elections, vote against John, and when they failed to topple him, would decide to break away, and under Max's leadership, form a splinter group.

Rumour has it that they still roam the distant hills, and that the occasional disappearance of one of their numbers is put down by them, to natural attrition ... rather than the fact that the 'impossible' two legged aliens had come and done some harvesting, so as to feed themselves.
