Our Show Has Been Canceled!

The Jimmy Dean Show ran in several iterations. I believe this one ran from 1957-59. It was back when just about all TV shows aired live, so the brass didn’t have a chance to pull this scene before it aired. Dean’s little scheme didn’t work, though, and the show went off the air as scheduled. Then in 1961, Dean had his first #1 hit song, “Big Bad John.” Then he got another TV show, in prime time.
