For some reason I can't get posting privileges at Neatorama, so I'll have to comment here. The Lincoln Highway bridge shown in the article was located in Tama, Iowa. It was built in 1914 and is still in service today.

I live three blocks from a Lincoln hwy marker in San Francisco.
