First, we spend 400 years bringing in people from around the world to build America. Then we go to war against anyone who wasn't born here. Talk about pulling up the ladder behind you! First, they made legal immigration so time-consuming and expensive that the process becomes useless for most people. Then they incarcerate those who went around the process. Finally, make sure no one wants to come here anymore. It will take generations to recover from this insanity, even if we get started now.

It's true.
After all my life, first reading American comics, then watching American TV & movies .... my desire to move to the 'land of the free' was strong ... dreamt of a big wide car, crusin' down the wide highway, pretty girl beside me, drinking coke and living in a flash house.
Now I wouldn't even contemplate a holiday there, I am white but still worry that I would be hauled away into a dark cold cell for 8 weeks while they decide if my documents are real.
You'd have more chance of me wanting to go to Germany circa 1942.
It is summer where I am, so I am more a cappuccino colour, but you know what I mean.
