The short answer is, so they don't die like so many kids in the past did. The longer explanation of the recommended vaccine schedule has to do with all that research that allows us to raise children that survive past the age of five.

Children get so many vaccines so that they do not suffer and die unnecessarily from easily preventable diseases. That basic fact is apparently too much for the average MAGA moron to grasp. Those fools should not be allowed to breed.
