Lions Climbing Trees

You expect leopards to climb trees, because that's their lifestyle. But lions are much bigger, several hundred pounds as adults, and are not known to live in trees. So why are these lions in Botswana climbing up? One of them must have tried it and found it to be advantageous, so the whole pride gave it a go. Even cheetahs are starting to climb trees now!
