The song from Jesus Christ Superstar was performed in 1970 by Ian Gillan on the original concept album that led to the opera, but you may know him better as the singer for Deep Purple. Now that is music!
I firmly believe that the only reason current-day music (pop/rap/hip-hop/techno/etc) is allowed to exist is so that we appreciate good music like this all the more.
