Snail Plays with Carrot

Snails are a lot like other animals, but we miss it because they are so slow. We also miss it because we don't often observe snails. The person who recorded this has two pet snails, Randolph and Mortimer, who are sisters. Go figure. He/she gave them a carrot, and started recording when Randolph started plating with the carrot. The snails ate the carrot over the course of a week, but they also played with a lot. This is a compressed time-lapse video of a long, slow play session. (via Boing Boing)
