Reading the poem by Ms Krause, I understand her frustration, but I believe half the things she mentioned are common to male pHd candidates also. Something about the examiners defending their lofty turf.

It's funny that the entire poem was about the behavior of men, and that Dr. Krause never once suggested that the behavior was directed only at women, yet your knee-jerk reaction was to defend Teh Menz. Almost as though your comment is an example of the very behavior she was discussing.

And you really give it away when you try to diminish her by omitting her title.

And, for the record, "pHd" is a ridiculous, meaningless abbreviation. Did you mean Ph.D.? As in, her doctorate?
