About lunchtime on Saturday, John Paul Brammer heard knocking on his Brooklyn apartment door. It was two dogs and a cat. The cat slipped into his apartment unnoticed and made himself at home. After investigation, Brammer determined they belonged to the apartment directly above his, where no one was home but the door was open. He put the dogs inside and shut the door, but soon found out they are escape artists. On the third attempt to put the dogs inside their apartment, this happened.
extremely stressful update. one of the dogs who went back into his apartment.... locked the door behind him somehow so now there’s one dog in the hall, one in the apartment, and one cat in my apartment. I’m gonna take the German Shepherd in mine I guess!?? pic.twitter.com/MJuR5Oid7G— JuanPa (@jpbrammer) March 16, 2019
Brammer eventually got other neighbors involved, some of whom are dog owners. As of now, the pet owners are still not home. What are the chances they hear about the viral thread before they arrive? Read the whole story with videos on Twitter. Here is the Threadreader version if you prefer. (via Metafilter)
