Estimates

Do you ever get the idea that this may be the way all business is done? Or, maybe I should say "successful" business. It was ten years ago that I hired a crew to remodel the house. They estimated it would take three months. They started in April, but by June they ran out of the up front money, and work slowed to an average of about one day a week until they finished the job in December. The above shenanigans are much easier to pull off when the client has no idea what's going on from day to day. This comic is from CommitStrip.
