The award-winning short film Hum is the story of a robot, busy with his assigned purpose of washing dishes, when a tiny intruder opens his eyes to the larger world outside the four walls of the kitchen. The robot's epiphany throws everything he knows into doubt.
Tom Teller and his team from Chapman’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts produced this animation for their advanced production class. The lesson to be learned from this is that our robot dishwashers should be boxy, brainless, and attached under our kitchen counters. (via Laughing Squid)
