Why Are Black Cats Considered Bad Luck?

We once accused some women of being witches, when they often were just crazy cat ladies. Our attitudes toward people change, but why do we still consider black cats to be bad luck? Chris Poole, who lives with the cats Cole and Marmalade, gives us the lowdown.

I’m glad to hear that there are places where black cats are considered good luck. My black cat Gogo was as sweet as a cat can be, but I always kept her inside during Halloween because you never know who will be passing by with all their superstitions intact. (via HuffPo)

My two black cats, Orpheus and Terpsichore, were wonderful furry friends.I don't understand why "modern" people hang on to the ignorance of the past.

If your allergies are bad enough, ALL color cats are bad luck.

Witches and their black cats have successfully Public Relationed there way into society to sneak up on us. When they get the signal those cats will be ripping throats out like pizza. Beware, the end is neigh.
