I'm no fan of Faux News (or skincare for that matter) but they actually have it almost right. The loophole law that everyone who is promoting the $1 Trillion coin is relying on requires that a commemorative coin has to have weight of the pure metal it is made of equal in value to the face value. There is not actually $1 Trillion of refined platinum presently in existence in the world.
