NHK conducted an experiment to see how germs spread at a cruise buffet.— Spoon & Tamago (@Johnny_suputama) May 8, 2020
They applied fluorescent paint to the hands of 1 person and then had a group of 10 people dine.
In 30 min the paint had transferred to every individual and was on the faces of 3.

Erik Satie: Gymnopédies
How about a little classical music performed by the Cats & Friends Choir? Listen to Gymnopédies by composer Erik Satie, which you can hear in its human form here.
The three movements of this deep and soulful piece have been virtually recorded by more than 500 enthusiastic participants in isolation from their homes and farms.Meow, baa, moo, meow! (via Metafilter)
Error Types
We all make mistakes, the important thing is to learn from them. But first you have to figure out whether it's a true error or not. And which kind. This comic is from Randall Munroe at xkcd.
Working From Home
It's a good thing I've come to terms with these things years ago. Good luck to the rest of you. This graph is from Matt Shirley.
1987
Let's take a short trip back in a time machine, to 1987. Do you remember where you were or what you were doing? It will be easy while you're listening to fifty songs from that year, mixed down to three minutes by The Hood Internet. You might want to clear some room for dancing.

Your Dad Teaches Loading the Dishwasher
This is a parody of the MasterClass videos, so I was all ready to fall in love with the art of loading a dishwasher. But alas, this is just the promo for such a class. Still, it's funny, and the outtakes at the end are the best. (via Digg)
Cat Sprinting and Pouncing in 4K Slow Motion
What do the Slow Mo Guys do during quarantine? Gavin Free grew a beard. Then he looked around at what was at hand to film in slow-motion with his ultra-high-speed camera, and saw his cat Smee. And so we learn that while cats might not be as graceful in slow motion as they would lead us to believe, they are pretty interesting to watch.
Warning, this video features time travel.(via Digg)
Weather
Confusion and disappointment is what I feel most times I check the weather forecast. The weather here finally got warm enough to plant tomatoes, then immediately rained for days straight before I could get them out. This comic is from Nathan Pyle's Strange Planet. I do not know what the countdown numbers at the bottom mean.
Learning French
Honestly, you can do this in every language, but you have to know the language. It's akin to "Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo," which takes way too much bandwidth to parse. Meanwhile, your uncle mows your tuna. (via Everlasting Blort)
