Darth Santa Strikes Back
Visiting your grandparents isn't always something a little child looks forward to, even around Christmas. But when you are Ben Solo, the prospect can be truly terrifying. However, it turns out that Darth Vader is a much better grandfather than he was a father. At least, from a kid's point of view. This is a sequel to last year's video that introduced Darth Santa. Maybe by this time next year, he'll have even more relatives to menace. (via Uproxx)

Christmas Koi Dance
The U.S. diplomatic mission to Japan, led by ambassador Caroline Kennedy, made a video Christmas greeting. Participants include the staff from the offices in Tokyo, Sapporo, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Naha. They are performing the Koi Dance (Love Dance) as performed on Hoshino Gen's TV show Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu, the hottest show of the year.
Bonus: Here's Ambassador Kennedy's personal Christmas video.

Snowboarding with Drone
Casey Neistat has recently dressed up as Santa Claus and let a drone pull him through the snow on a snowboard. And then even up into the air! His astounding Christmas greeting has an alien abduction vibe in there, too. The video is essentially an ad, but you don't even know that until the very end. You can see some behind-the-scenes video to get some clues about how they pulled it off. (via reddit)

Новогодняя сказка
This video is weird, brutal, and cuts against the grain of out modern sensibilities in many ways. A busy mom gets a lesson in what's important from Father Christmas. It's in Russian, but you don't really need the dialogue to understand. Believe it or not, this is an ad for a bank. (via Boing Boing)

The Star Wars Musical
In this alternate history video, we explore George Lucas' original musical version of the Star Wars saga. We get a taste of the musical numbers "Tosche Station," "Scruffy-Looking Nerf Herder," "I Don't Like Sand," and "Conceived by Midichlorians." I doubt you'll see anything sillier today. This video is from the Gregory Brothers. (via Digg)

Trump Gets a Christmas Visitor
Alex Baldwin appeared on Saturday Night Live last night to portray Trump as he gets ready for Christmas. I love how the show is able to slip in jokes from as recently as Saturday, when Trump used the non-word "unpresidented" in a Tweet instead of "unprecedented." My spellcheck had a hard time letting me say that.
