Scurryant Invasion

Mother and her little, uh, offspring find their house has been invaded by ants! Mother directs the catastrophe well by encouraging the little monster to observe and figure out what to do instead of freaking out. He does so like a competent five-year-old, but oh, that face and that voice! His vocabulary is a way beyond any child I know, while his understanding is perfectly childlike. He even has a companion plush sheep named Jeremy.   

So this is how I found out what Chris Hallbeck, formerly of the webcomic Maximumble, has been doing. He has an entire series of videos featuring the character called Little Monster. In every video he confronts a new mystery about the world, just like all children, and learns to deal with it. This is how you make a hairy monster with one eye and a frightening voice into something just plain adorable. And how you make a cartoon about a child much funnier.
